Bekommt mann über D Box nur Öffentliche Sender entschlüsselt oder auch Private ?

Hallo Nachbarn ! Habe heute die alte D Box von meinem Vater geschenkt bekommen. Leider musste ich nach erfolgreicher Installation feststellen das ich nur öffentliche Sender empfangen kann. Bei allen privaten Sendern wird mir angezeigt "Signal kann nicht entschlüsselt werden". Liegt das nun an meinem Kabelanbieter oder geht das generell nicht.
