How can my daughter who lives in France cash in a cheque in Sterling?

My daughter lives in France and has recently received a cheque in Sterling. She cannot pay it into her bank. Is there anyway she could endorse it and send it to me so that I could pay it into my bank for her when she eventually visits me?
