VPN is (Virtual Private Network) were first used by companies to enable their employees to securely access internal systems such as email remotely (e.g. from home or while on business trips). Today they are increasingly being used for personal use by individuals to protect their privacy while online in public places (e.g. when using the wi-fi connection in a cafe) or in a country where the internet is censored / blocked (e.g. China, Saudi Arabia).

Anyone know any free/trial VPN UK?

Hi so anyone know any free vpn for british streaming websites? I mean like for example how people use hotspot shield for american ones such as Hulu, is there anything for the uk? I'd like to watch a couple of episodes on channel4 but not willing to pay a monthly fee for such a short stay. 24 hour free trial would be fine too!

Thanks

Is switching from BT to Sky a good choice if working from home?

Hi
I am thinking of switching from BT to Sky for cost reasons, but before I do was wondering if anyone had any problems with Sky when working from home (broadband connection reliability etc) -I use a vpn connection on a regular basis and haven't as yet had any probs with BT customer service if something does go wrong.

What' s the most direct way to install a vpn connection between two computers ?

If you could tell me in simple steps that would be welcomed. I know there are non microsoft products out there that can help to make this easier but how do I do it directly without installing these software ?

How to use remote access on Macbook Pro?

I have a Macbook pro with which I am trying to access a remote desktop from a secure website. Unfortunately whenever I attempt to connect to the desktop I get the following error message:
Your OS/platform is not supported for this component.
The website/remote access is provided by Juniper Networks. Does anyone know of a solution that is not going to need a Windows OS installation?

Thank you in advance.
